Cristiano Ronaldo has already received a verdict from Graham Potter, and Eden Hazard has offered
The most recent Chelsea headlines include Ronaldo’s Potter verdict and Hazard’s potential Premier League comeback.
Potter pronounces on Ronaldo
Cristiano Ronaldo stirred up debate when he said that Manchester United had deceived him.
In an interview with Piers Morgan, the Portuguese star said that he felt compelled to leave the team. In the penultimate game before the World Cup, Erik ten Hag rested him against Fulham.
After returning from Qatar, he now appears destined to leave Old Trafford, and Chelsea is one of the favorites to sign him. The 37-year-old’s services were offered to Todd Boehly by agent Jorge Mendes, and the Blues showed interest in him over the summer.
Hazard back in the Premier League
Former Chelsea star Eden Hazard may well end up back in the Premier League after another slow start to a season with Real Madrid.
The Belgium captain has played more for his country and in the Champions League than he has in the league so far this season and reports from Spain suggest he is free to go as Carlo Ancelotti has no plans for him.
This could open up a surprise move for Unai Emery’s Aston Villa. The former Arsenal boss is currently managing Phillipe Coutinho, a player who found himself in a similar position last year after failing to perform at Bayern Munich or Barcelona, and the Midlands side could try to repeat their trick with Hazard.
