Man United moves forward with an ambitious £150 million transfer to replace Cristiano Ronaldo plans.

According to reports, Manchester United is moving forward with its ambitious signing of Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain to take Cristiano Ronaldo’s place.

The Daily Mirror reports that the Red Devils might have to spend about £150 million to acquire Mbappe, but that they have the resources to do so and are one of the few teams in Europe that can afford his salary.

The France international would be a statement signing by Man Utd if they could pull it off, though it will surely be impossible to convince a player of that calibre to move to Old Trafford while the club cannot offer Champions League football.

Still, United must consider major replacement for Ronaldo, and Mbappe would be the ideal choice to put this waning force back on the map.

The forward Victor Osimhen of Napoli is another alternative being looked at, according to The Mirror, in the wake of Ronaldo’s explosive chat with Piers Morgan.

The 37-year-old has leveled some serious accusations against MUFC, saying they were attempting to get rid of him and that they didn’t believe him when he said he had to miss the preseason due to family obligations.

Fabrizio Romano said he believes Ronaldo’s time at Manchester is undoubtedly coming to an end. Ronaldo also criticized manager Erik ten Hag, admitting he doesn’t respect the Dutch mastermind.
